2020 saw the introduction of the LASERTRON Battle Royale Squad Tournaments and witnessed the rise of some incredible squads in both the Adult (18+) and Youth (17U) categories.

In the Adult Squads’ category, there were 7 squads who took home winnings in the form of cash and medals. GI Joe took 1st place for the year with 2 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal and took home $1,500 in winnings. Taking 2nd place for the year, The Masked Bandits 2 won 3 separate events earning $700 and 3 medals: 1 silver and 2 bronze. Spits n Giggles secured 3rd place for the year with 1 gold medal and $500. FRECKLESQUAD placed 4th overall with $500 in winnings and 1 gold medal. Placing 5th overall, Dalton Gang earned $300 and a silver medal. 6th place went to The Rejected Warriors who earned $300 in winnings and 1 silver medal. And, 7th place went to The Brit is Back with $200 and 1 bronze medal.

For the Youth Squads’ category, there were also 7 squads who secured winnings in the form of points and medals. IM HYPER took first place by winning 3 events with a combined points total of 1,300 and bringing home 2 gold and 1 silver medals (just for reference, that would be the equivalent of $1,300 in the Adult tournament). pink squids won 3 events winning 700 points and 3 medals (1 silver, 2 bronze). TEAM HUNTER secured the 3rd position with 1 gold medal and 500 points in winnings. Dog wahter also secured 4th place with 500 points in winnings and 1 gold medal. person person and Dalton Gang2 took 5th and 6th positions, respectively while earning 300 points and 1 silver medal each. And, 7th place went to team avatarr with 200 points and 1 bronze medal.

To all the squads and squad captains that made this past year’s tournament a success, we congratulate you all and wish you the best for 2021!

(For 2021, it’s anticipated that adult prize money will be in excess of $10,000!)
